The band Elysium was established in 2003 in Týnec nad Labem. After lineup formation was complete, the band released in 2004 firstly its three-song demo, later followed by a debut album "Curiosity". In its music, Elysium focuses on more technical metal influenced by Death, Dream Theatre or Metallica. In 2006, after several lineup changes, the second album "Private Hell" came out. Thus far latest creation of the band is the album "Nine ways to leave" from 2009.
